Cottage Prices are based on a 1 week stay (7 nights) "Friday Changeovers*" *unless otherwise specified


Bookings: To make a booking please click on the availability checker for the property you wish to enquire about then select your dates and make your booking.


Prices: are in GBP, include normal usage of electricity, water and oil fired central heating - there are no hidden charges. 


Book Direct - We do list our properties on a few carefully selected cottage booking agencies sites however we are happy to offer guests a direct booking discount which is why the price we display may be cheaper than those advertised on other sites.

Deposit: We ask for a £100 deposit at the time of booking.

Final Payment: balance is due 8 weeks (56 days) before your holiday commences. Holidays booked less than 8 weeks from the holiday dates must be paid for in full. 

Payment: Our preferred payment methods are: is bank transfer. 


Arrival times: are from 4.00 p.m. onwards and departure is by 10.00 a.m.

Travel By Bus

Arriva, Go North East & Travel Line North East

Arriva and Go North East provide excellent bus services around Northumberland with extra routes running during summer months and peak times.

Kids go free this summer with Arriva and can travel for a pound with Go North EastSingle bus fares for adults have also been capped at £2 until October 2023, increasing to £2.50 until November 2024.

Northumberland Coast and Castles

Explore the Northumberland Coast and Countryside by Bus with MAX X15, X18 & X20. Arriva’s scenic X18 route runs along the Northumberland coastline from Newcastle to Berwick. It’s an ideal route for walkers heading out to the Northumberland Coast Path. Holy Island Border Buses 477 service currently operates Monday to Saturday between Berwick-upon-Tweed and Holy Island.

Morpeth and south east Northumberland to the coast

Catch Arriva’s X18 service from Newcastle to Berwick, calling at Morpeth, Alnwick, Amble and the coast, while the 418 service covers the Alnwick and Belford. The X15 travels from Newcastle to Berwick and the coast and offers great value family tickets which are transferable on all routes.

Northumberland County Council lists all bus timetables operating in the county too.

Look out for special offers and passes like Arriva’s Passport Weekly and Discover Day tickets. Valid in the north Northumberland area, ticketholders enjoy benefits including discounted rates at attractions including Bamburgh Castle and Bailiffgate Museum.

The AD122 Hadrian's Wall Country Bus operates all year round between Hexham Bus Station and Haltwhistle Rail Station, stopping at all of the major attractions along the wall, making it perfect for sightseeing.
